Singer/Songwriter Bill Dees Announces New CD and Free Download

Bill Dees announces the release of his third CD, "Where Does The Time Go".

Kissee Mills, Mo. (Billboard Publicity Wire) November 14, 2008 -- Bill Dees is best known as Roy Orbison's co-writer ("Oh, Pretty Woman", "It's Over"). You may not have heard of Bill Dees but, you have heard him. That's him singing the harmony with Roy Orbison on "Oh, Pretty Woman" and many of the other songs that the duo wrote together. Bill has just released his third CD entitled "Where Does The Time Go".

Recorded in Springfield, Missouri, produced by Jack Pribek and Lou Whitney, the album features 13 new original songs including writing collaborations with Pribek, Whitney, Wes Helm, and Bill's brother Val Dees (on the New Orleans inspired "River Queen").

With The Skeletons again providing stellar backing, Dees covers a wide range from Orbison type ballads to truck driving songs and roadhouse rockers. Dees voice remains in top form and the songwriting is fresh and fine.

The CD is available at CDBaby (http://cdbaby.com/cd/billdees3) and you can listen and learn more at the website (http://billdees.com/houseofdees/). For a limited time, also at the website, fans can grab a free download of the song "Billie Sol", a swamp rock groove about another Texas legend.

Bill Dees is one of rock and roll's true originals, one of the roots of Roots Rock, an amazing songwriter with a voice that could soar with Roy. Give a listen to "Where Does The Time Go".
