Front Gate Solutions Launches Online Store Business; The Industry's First Truly Integrated Online Ticketing and Merchandise Platform is Born

Austin, TX (Billboard Publicity Wire) June 27, 2007 -- Front Gate Solutions of Austin, TX today announced the launch of MerchManager™, a web-based e-commerce application that has been designed specifically for the entertainment industry. The solution enables artists, bands, festivals, film studios, sports teams and other event producers to sell t-shirts, hats, CDs and more from a privately branded online store. Organizations can either license the software to run their own operations or outsource store management and fulfillment operations to Front Gate Solutions' full service agency, Front Gate Tickets.

MerchManager™ is the fifth module in the Front Gate Solutions family and can be used as either a standalone application or one that integrates with the Front Gate Solutions ticketing system. This means that any company that sells tickets and merchandise can offer their customer the experience of dropping tickets and any number of other items in the same online shopping cart.
"The research we have shows that many of our competitors setup standalone ticketing and merchandise stores on behalf of their clients," notes Price. "Some ticketing companies will bundle a new CD or a t-shirt with tickets, but we haven't seen any other organization offer a full-featured ticketing system and large scale merchandise store in one place."
Front Gate Solutions launched MerchManager™ in early June with clients including Stubbs BBQ, Jack Ingram, Blues Traveler, and Ben Kweller. The coming weeks will see stores open for the likes of Austin City Limits Music Festival, Lollapalooza, Austin-based ME Television, Grammy Award winning Texas swing band, Asleep At The Wheel, and indie rock favorite, Dax Riggs.
