"Killer" Beauty Queen Hits the R&B Scene

Cover model for Vegas rock band, The Killers', new sophomore album is also a talented R&B singer/songwriter/producer.

Las Vegas, NV (Billboard Publicity Wire) December 1, 2006 -- You may not know Felice LaZae (www.myspace.com/felicelazae), but her image has become internationally recognized as the bikini-clad beauty queen on the cover of The Killers' new sophomore album, "Sam's Town", that was released in October 2006. What most Killers fans don't know, however, is that she is a gifted singer, songwriter, and producer.

I have never worked with a more dedicated and focused young talent in my career. She will do well in all aspects of this business.

Hers is the classic story of being in the right place at the right time. LaZae became acquainted with the band while working as a Production Assistant at the world-class Studio at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada, where The Killers recorded their latest album. At the end of their four month recording session, the band surprised LaZae by asking her if she wanted to be in the photo shoot for their album's artwork. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity, but once the shoot ended, few expected her pictures to make it into the album booklet. Several weeks later, the band shocked LaZae again when they told her that her photo made the album cover.

For now, LaZae continues to write and collaborate with several noted industry professionals. She also works with Jeffrey Skouson, level five teacher of the Seth Riggs Speech Level Singing technique. Skouson works with many gifted singers in the industry, yet he says, "I have never worked with a more dedicated and focused young talent in my career. She will do well in all aspects of this business."
