Update: Kaleo Futuristo Releases His Debut Album in France with Mercury/Universal Music Group
System 3 Entertainment is looking forward to the successful release of their hot new recording artist overseas before making moves in the US.
San Jose, CA (Billboard Publicity Wire) October 27, 2006 -- System 3 Entertainment (USA) along with Mercury Records and Universal Music Group (France) are proud to announce the release of recording artist, songwriter and producer from Pasadena, California who is looking forward to becoming the next talented superstar in this generation who goes by the name of KALEO FUTURISTO.
His unique image, sound and visual style of original Urban, Hip-hop, R&B and Pop music with fusions of Rock, Reggae and Latin Rhythms have created some recognition for himself within the music industry and the Rap community as a trendsetter is determined to bring a new positive lyrical message and style for others to follow.
As a result in 2005, Kaleo Futuristo caught the attention of record executives during a stellar performance at The MIDEM Music Festival in Cannes which got him signed with Vivendi-Universal Music Group through Mercury Records. During the same year, he also received The Hawaiian Music Award for best Hip-hop album.
In 2006, his new album: "The Future Is Now" was originally slated for a Summer release date, but got rescheduled for Spring 2007. A powerful promotional campaign is planned for the debut single: "Save The World" with heavy radio and music video rotation on several stations in France. Additional tests have been conducted in various countries across the globe on both traditional and Internet radio stations. MP3 and CD promotional copies of singles from the album have been sent to the DJ, music and record pools with positive feedback.
Future plans are in the works to release Kaleo Futuristo's music in Europe and The United States.
